Daphne helped me when I was struggling to care for my mom, whose dementia was getting worse, but she was too scared to move. Daphne took time to talk with me, understanding what I wanted/needed. Then she met with my mom and I and talked to my mom in such a caring manner, which got my mom to open up about what she would want IF she had to move. From there, Daphne took me on tours of adult family homes she felt met our needs. The first one she showed me I was immediately impressed with, and we moved my mom a month later. That same day, and every day since then, my mom has told me how safe she feels there, cared for, and what good food she is getting.
